Daastan was Constructo’s pioneering off-grid residential project in Chakwal, developed in collaboration with RSi Studio for a UK-based family reconnecting with their roots in Pakistan. As one of the top construction companies, we managed the full project cycle in just four months, delivering a future-ready retirement home built on principles of sustainability and design precision. The house also integrates self-sustaining agriculture, water channels for irrigation, and rainwater harvesting linked to a fish pond.
Structurally, the home features reinforced full-height doors and windows using heavier gauge metal and extra hinges, ensuring long-term durability. The jali was custom-fabricated with precise detailing to form a durable grid structure. Despite site challenges, including a discovered soil pit requiring a 20-foot design shift, we maintained timeline and quality. Daastan stands as a testament to our commitment to eco-friendly construction in Pakistan.
